User Support Specialist

Location: Amherst, NY

Frontier Science, a Data Management Center participating in large medical research projects, is looking for a self-driven individual to join our User Support department.

Primary duties:

  • Interact with medical professionals, both domestic and international, to provide assistance with our various computing systems
  • Web-based remote software support

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong written skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to manage workflow independently
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexible work schedule

Education:

A Bachelor's degree is preferred. We welcome degrees of various backgrounds. While technical support experience is preferred, this is not a traditional IT position and does not perform hands-on hardware support.

This position involves frequent correspondence with our collaborators, so strong written communication skills are a must. This position will be based out of our Amherst, NY office, but consideration will be made for a full time remote candidate.
