User Support Specialist

Location: Amherst, NY

Frontier Science, a Data Management Center participating in large medical research projects, is looking for a self-driven individual to join our User Support department.

Primary duties:

  • Interact with medical professionals, both domestic and international, to provide assistance with our various computing systems
  • Management of user accounts
  • Web-based remote software support.

Required:

  • Strong written skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to manage workflow independently
  • Attention to detail.

Education: A Bachelor's degree is preferred. We welcome degrees of various backgrounds. While technical support experience is preferred, this is not a traditional IT position and does not perform hands-on hardware support.

Starting salary is $38,000 with an excellent package of fringe benefits. After an initial 6 month training period in the office, the shift will be 4pm - 12am remotely.
