Frontier Science is first and foremost an organization committed to advancing medical research. As such, we understand the potential effects of public health crises such as the one we are currently facing with COVID-19, and we also understand the resulting necessity for all organizations and businesses to appropriately respond to this public emergency in a swift and deliberate manner. Frontier Science, along with all other organizations, must respond quickly to ensure the safety of our employees, collaborators, sponsors, and clients. As the situation around COVID-19 continues to evolve I want to take a moment to share a few critical updates.
Over the past few weeks we have all witnessed the spread of this global pandemic. Our leadership has been closely monitoring the evolving situation and has been accessing the latest information and recommendations provided by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and other public health agencies. In light of their recommendations, Frontier Science has moved to formally enacting its business continuity plan to ensure a smooth business transition to remote work. Frontier Science would like to make all of our partners (both current and potential) aware that we have been and will continue to be fulfilling all operations remotely into the foreseeable future, until conditions allow a full return to the work place.
Our primary priority continues to be providing the highest quality of statistical, data management, and technological services to our collaborators, sponsors, and clients. We will continue to do so while also protecting the health and safety of our employees and their families. We will accomplish this by providing them with a highly effective and secure teleworking infrastructure, which allows them to continue fulfilling all work responsibilities and in turn continuing to serve our collaborators. Our robust computing infrastructure consists of various collaboration tools that ensure private, secure, and protected access to systems, networks, applications, and communications. Additionally, our employees are cognizant of, and are held to, the highest standard of data management, security, and productivity. We have taken proactive measures with our employees in anticipation of the need to work remotely and will seamlessly maintain all primary and critical operations during these challenging times.
Frontier Science is at the forefront of technology and our capacity to support remote work in the face of a global epidemic illustrates our loyal commitment to our work and to our collaborators. I am proud to say that not only are we successfully fulfilling our regular responsibilities but we are also expanding operations by quickly initiating involvement in a series of COVID-19 studies. We hope to be a part of the COVID-19 solution by providing data management, statistical, and technological services in support of hospitals, clinics, health care personnel, and researchers at the forefront of COVID-19 research.
Wishing you good health and continued safety.
Sincerely,
Sue Siminski, MS, MBA
