Adel Ahmed serves as Chief Technology Officer, responsible for shaping the organization’s technology strategy and overseeing critical systems, computing infrastructure, and applications. He oversees the IT operations, software engineering, and database management departments.

With over two decades of experience, Adel brings extensive expertise in implementing cutting-edge software solutions, leading cross-functional technical teams, and developing specialized applications that support clinical and laboratory research, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

In addition to his technical leadership, Adel plays an active role on internal leadership, steering, and compliance committees, and serves as a trusted consultant to external collaborators. His work remains instrumental in advancing the organization’s mission and evolving its software and IT infrastructure. Adel graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and holds a master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
