The European Thoracic Oncology Program (ETOP) and International Breast Cancer Study Group (IBCSG) Partners Foundation brings together two of the leading innovators in clinical and translational cancer research, strengthening its position as an international academic research organization through broadened competency, synergy, and sustainability, as well as the reduction of overhead. Both partners share missions and top-level scientific objectives, as well as a vision of expansion, both geographically and with regard to the research area.

The IBCSG Statistical and Data Management Center (SDMC) is located at Frontier Science, Amherst, New York, and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Department of Data Science, Boston, Massachusetts. The IBCSG SDMC oversees data collection, processing, and management, documentation development, trial activation and coordination, technical support and training for Participating Centers/Cooperative Groups, statistical design and analysis, and scientific coordination of research dissemination.
